New Patients

There are two ways that parents are introduced to Forest Hills Pediatric Associates: as a first-time parent or as a parent who would like to have their child’s care transferred to our practice. We offer a custom approach to both, and welcome the opportunity to talk about how we can serve you.

First-Time Parents

Thank you for taking the time to visit us—once you click through our website, we invite you to come to our office and meet with Kathy Hickey, our office manager.  PLEASE EMAIL KATHY AT OFFICEMANAGER@FORESTHILLSPEDIATRICS.COM IN ORDER TO SET UP A 'TELEPHONE GET ACQUANTED VISIT' DURING THIS COVID19 OUTBREAK.

Best Time—30 to 60 Days Before Your Due Date

We recommend you schedule your Get-Acquainted  Telephone Visit a month or two before your due date, so we (and you) are prepared for your first visit after your child’s birth. Please allow about 45 minutes for the phone call in order get make sure we answer all of your questions.

If you are pregnant and are thinking of breastfeeding, you may want to consider attending one of our complementary "Breastfeeding Basics" classes. See here for more details.

Transferring to Our Practice

If you are new to our practice but are not first-time parents, please give us a call. We will inform you of our current transfer policy.

Vaccination Policy

Because we care about the health and safety of your child and all of our patients, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Immunization schedule.  Therefore, if you have chosen to decline vaccines or follow an "alternative" vaccine schedule, we ask that you seek another pediatric practice.
