Richard Wood, MD

Dr. Wood received his undergraduate degree in his hometown, at Hope College in Holland. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his pediatric residency at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. Dr. Wood is a Board Certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and he cofounded Forest Hills Pediatrics with Dr. Wakefield.

Dr. Wood's patients know him as “Dr. Duck,” thanks to his spot on Donald Duck impersonation. He likes being silly with his patients to put them at ease. He is married to an obstetrician and they have two children.
